How OzPong collects, uses, stores and protects information when you use the Australian table tennis rankings and analytics service.
Information we collect
We collect the account details you provide when you register, such as your email address and display name, together with the players, clubs, events and matchups you choose to follow. Standard server logs may record request paths, timestamps, browser type and approximate location for security and performance monitoring.
How we use information
Information is used to operate your account, personalise rankings and follows, send optional notifications, prevent abuse and improve the service. We do not sell personal information. Public table tennis data published by Ratings Central remains publicly visible on player, club and event pages.
Cookies, analytics and third parties
OzPong uses browser storage for theme and session preferences and may use privacy-conscious analytics to understand aggregate traffic. Authentication can be provided through Google Identity Services. Those providers process data under their own privacy policies.
Retention, security and access
Account and usage records are retained only as long as needed to provide the service or meet legal obligations. We apply access controls and encrypted transport, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security. You may request access, correction or deletion of your account data by contacting privacy@oz-pong.com.
