Table Tennis Head-to-Head Calculator
Compare any two Australian table tennis players using Ratings Central ratings. Estimate win probability, expected rating changes and the likely match score before the first ball is hit.
How the matchup model works
The calculator applies the Ratings Central Bayesian model. Each player has a rating mean and a standard deviation that reflects how certain that rating is. The model combines both values to estimate the chance of each player winning, then converts the result into expected rating gains or losses for the chosen scoreline.
A large rating gap usually produces a clear favourite, but a high standard deviation widens the outcome range. That is why newer or less active players can show more volatile predictions than established competitors with hundreds of recorded rubbers.
